Outdoor Theatre on Tresco: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

Hop across from Bryher for an afternoon of outdoor theatre in the beautiful surroundings of Tresco Abbey Garden.

Following a sell-out run, IKP return to Tresco with their wonderfully lively take on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz – a fast-paced family comedy inspired by L. Frank Baum’s much-loved story.

Join Dorothy, the Tin Woodman, Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion and Toto on their journey through Oz, meeting munchkins, witches, winged monkeys and, of course, a rather Wonderful Wizard along the way.

Expect plenty of physical comedy, quick-fire character changes and laughs for children and grown-ups alike, all played out beneath the summer sky in Tresco Abbey Garden.

A pop-up bar will be serving drinks and snacks before and during the performance.

Coming Across from Bryher

Make an afternoon of it and take the short boat trip from Bryher to Tresco, allowing plenty of time to wander up to the Abbey Garden before doors open at 2.30pm.

Inter-island boat times vary with the tides, so please check the daily boating schedule before travelling and make sure you know your return boat to Bryher.
