Welcoming guests and non-residents alike, relax in the warm ambience of our bar or soak up the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean from our outdoor terrace.

Drop in for drinks & lunch; Dinner by reservation only

Whether you're exploring Bryher for the day or staying longer, pop in to our welcoming Bar & Terrace for a post-walk wine, Bryher crab sandwich or an evening cocktail.

At Hell Bay, we pride ourselves on using the freshest local produce to create a range of dishes to satisfy all tastes. From the ever-popular Moules Marinière to the classic Hell Bay burger, grilled Cornish fish, creative and distinctive plant-based dishes, or our Head Chef’s signature bouillabaisse, we have something for everyone.

Our lunchtime bar menu is served daily from noon to 2 pm, perfect for a pitstop while out exploring the beautiful island of Bryher. If you’re a large group, it’s advisable to phone ahead, but otherwise, just drop in.

In the evening, residents can choose to dine in the Bar or on the Terrace, enjoying a more informal dining option to complement our 3 AA Rosette restaurant. We can sometimes welcome non-residents for Dinner in the Bar, depending on availability; please call 01720 422947 for details.

As the sun sets into the ocean, grab a drink from the bar and head to the intimate Sunset Deck, or unwind with a book or magazine in the cosy armchairs of the Lookout Lounge, surrounded by perhaps the finest private art collection in the south-west.

There’s nothing quite like sipping a samphire margarita on a sunset deck overlooking a wildlife lagoon with waves crashing in the distance. The setting is idyllic and the food even better…
