Tresco Makers Markets

Hop across from Bryher and browse a changing collection of locally made art, jewellery, ceramics, textiles and more at Tresco’s regular Makers Markets.
Held throughout the season, the Makers Markets bring together talented creators from across the islands for a relaxed celebration of Scilly’s creative community.
You’ll find everything from sea glass jewellery and prints to pottery, hand-sewn bags and other pieces inspired by island life – with makers from Tresco joined by familiar faces from Bryher and St Mary’s too.
On fine days, the stalls line the sea wall at New Grimsby, overlooking the channel towards Bryher. If the weather turns, the market moves indoors to the Flying Boat Studio.
Come across for a browse, meet some of the people behind the work and perhaps head home with something made here on the islands.

Check the daily inter-island boat times before travelling and plan your crossing around the market.
New Grimsby is just a short walk from the quay, making this an easy excuse to pop across for a couple of hours – perhaps with lunch, a drink or a wander around Tresco while you’re here.
